INTERNS & GRADUATES
We offer a two-year graduate trainee programme and a number of one-year internships for students. All of these programmes will give you the kind of accountability you’re unlikely to find elsewhere. For a start, you’ll join a team. Which means you’ll enjoy more responsibility than most. And we’ll trust you to make your mark on real projects, influence future policy and prove yourself in a fast-moving business.
Things change so quickly round here that we can’t be specific about the kind of projects you’ll be working on. But we can guarantee that you’ll be totally immersed in our business. It’s exhilarating stuff –there’s a lot to take in and plenty of pressure. So you need the ability to cope with changing demands. But you’ll get regular support and feedback from your manager and the rest of the team. So the best way to develop your skills and learn about our business is to get stuck in.
Whatever your degree subject, on our graduate programme or one of our internships, you could soon be involved in a broad range of activities in one of these teams:
Customer research. Marketing analysis. New product launches. Advertising. Events support. Digital campaigns. The list of areas you could be involved in here goes on and on. And whatever you’re doing, you’ll be encouraged to think for yourself, produce ideas and make a genuine contribution to our success.
You’ll be a central point of contact for every part of our £1 billion business, delivering vital management information. And producing reports for everyone from board directors to dealers around the country. It’s all about giving our sales operation great support to keep it running smoothly.
In our aftersales teams there’s a huge variety of areas for you to get involved in. From implementing marketing initiatives to contacting dealers, and fleet and retail customers. Assessing the customer journey to getting on top of logistics processes. It’s a great learning experience that’ll really build your talents.
To stay ahead of the market, we’re continually looking for new ways to develop our fantastic product range. It’s exciting and creative work where you’ll learn lots quickly. So you’ll need the flexibility to adapt to whatever we throw at you.
This is a fast-moving team where things can change quickly, so there’s always something new to get involved in. We’ll look to you for fresh opinions and suggestions. And working closely with the fleet field team, you’ll deal with customers, dealers, suppliers and contractors.
As a key member of the Academy team, you’ll support the planning, reporting and delivery of a wide range of training. So you’ll be working with industry experts, trainers, film crews, events agencies and learning specialists. It’s a challenging and varied place to develop your skills, where every day’s different.
If you’re studying for a finance-related degree, this is a great chance for you to prove your ability and add value to our £1 billion business. Bring us your bright ideas and inventive thinking and we’ll give you a variety of experience that’ll set you on the path towards becoming a financial accountant.
Exciting. Challenging. Innovative. Exciting (again). These are just some of the clichés you’d expect to hear from people on our graduate programmes or internships.
But we wanted to give you a true impression of what it’s like. The hard work. The pressure. The real work. So find out what it’s really like to be an intern or graduate at Hyundai from people who’ve experienced it for themselves. In their own words.
